Rescue Special Ops Series 2 Begins Shooting!
Rescue Special Ops - Series two starts shooting Monday, February 15
The Nine Network and Southern Star Entertainment today announced that a second series of RESCUE Special Ops will start shooting on Monday, February 15.

The high-energy action-drama series will return to film in and around Sydney, with another 13 episodes to be
screened on Nine later this year.
The original main cast including Les Hill, Gigi Edgley, Peter Phelps, Libby Tanner, Daniel Amalm,
Katherine Hicks and Andrew Lees will return.
Series producers Sarah Smith and Julie McGauran said: “Series two will return with all the key ingredients that
made series one so popular. There will be plenty of action, great new characters, returning familiar faces,
Aussie humour, chemistry, mystery and intrigue.”
In series two of Rescue Special Ops brothers Chase (Andrew Lees) and Dean Gallagher (Les Hill) are living
together, Lara (Gigi Edgley) is married to Hamish (Wil Traval) and boss Michelle (Libby Tanner) juggles
motherhood, her relationship with Detective Ian Johnson (Tim McCunn) and her job as Rescue unit manager.
On the job, the Rescue team will respond to a mine collapse, a child abduction, a marina fire, a train wreck, a
light plane crash and much more.

the first series of Rescue Special Ops and now we’re excited to bring an even faster and more action-packed
Rescue Special Ops to screens in 2010.”
Rescue Special Ops series two is being produced with the assistance of Screen Australia and Screen NSW.
